Who Would You Like to Be When You Grow Up?
2021

The work highlights the employee’s individuality, their dreams, hopes and ambitions. The figures in the video can be interpreted as younger and older versions of the same subject. The younger self is feeling anxious about her future while the older version looks back at her life and the lack of resources she had to pursue her dreams. The character is a retail worker who must perform the role of someone at peace with the world, despite career dissatisfaction, poor working conditions and the absence of a living wage.
